"Not the kind of message we ever imagined writing, but an honest and long overdue one. After many conversations and much reflection, we have decided to bring High Fighter to an end.
Following the pandemic and Shi leaving the band, and despite our best efforts to keep High Fighter alive and to work on new music, our personal and musical paths slowly drifted apart. Somewhere along the way, we lost the shared spirit that once defined us.
That said, there is no bitterness here. We are still close friends. It feels like family and always will. We are deeply grateful for more than 10 years filled with music, countless tours, festival shows, experiences, true connections, friendships that were made, and the best memories we will always value.
To everyone who joined and supported us on this wild ride: Thank you. None of this would have been possible without you!
But for now, the chapter of High Fighter is closed. Who knows what the future holds…our musical paths might cross again someday.
